Join our team and use leading edge tools and methods to help clients visualize, analyze, and interpret data and trends to help them drive performance.

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to support our Analytics team, who will:

  • Compile, review and analyze client, competitive, and industry data
  • Develop dashboards, reports, custom analyses and other analytic tools and methods as required
  • Assist in the development of Adante analytical tools and other strategic initiatives
  • Participate in client projects

Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will be expected to:

  • Work as part of a team to develop and deliver analytical tools and results to clients
  • Provide research support for various client and internal projects
  • Use his or her natural curiosity and skills to clarify business, data and analytical issues and help develop appropriate solutions
  • Specific duties will be to support the team leader on projects to:
    • Perform research, including market research
    • Acquire and manipulate data from a variety of sources 
    • Analyze and manipulate data using Data Science methods
    • Prepare analyses, dashboards and reports that highlight specific information
    • Create and present findings as reports and presentations
    • Perform financial analysis, including financial and statistical modeling
    • Identify trends and opportunities
  • Other duties may be assigned as required

Education

  •  BA/BSc degree in Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a quantitative Social Science field 

Experience and Capabilities (Qualifications)

  • Minimum 2 years working experience, including experience focused in an analytic area (e.g. Math, Statistics, Business, Operations Research, Finance or other similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (extensive knowledge and use of excel functions in a prior position)
  • Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following analytical tools:
    • Tableau
    • Python
    • SQL Databases
    • Statistics methods in R
  • Project experience in one or more of the following domains:
    • Financial modeling, risk modelling, or other similar experience
    • Regression analysis
    • Statistics and/or Probability
    • Simulation
    • Predictive Modeling
    • Data Science Methods and concepts
    • Experience working with large data sets, such as in big data, or census applications
  • Research Skills – experience in working on research tasks
