Adante Consulting Inc. (“Adante,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a management and technology consulting firm. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of the personal and business data entrusted to us by our website visitors, clients, and business partners.
This policy outlines how we collect, use, protect, and handle data in compliance with Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
1. Information We Collect on Our Website

Automated Analytics: Technical data including IP address, general location, browser type, device details, page paths visited, and referral sources collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
Advertising & Cookies: Cookie identifiers utilized by Google Ads and LinkedIn Advertising to measure advertising effectiveness and deliver relevant content.
2. Our Client Data Posture & Confidentiality
We maintain a strict distinction between Website/Marketing Data (collected through our digital channels) and Client Engagement Data (received or accessed during consulting projects).
Client Engagement Data Governance
Client Project Data is never collected through our website and is not governed by this online privacy policy. All data received or accessed in the course of an active consulting engagement is strictly governed by the specific Master Services Agreement (MSA), Statement of Work (SOW), and Data Protection Addendum (DPA) executed between Adante and the client.
When handling client data during active engagements, our practices are guided by the following core principles:
In-Environment Preference: We operate under a strict “client-environment-first” policy. Wherever feasible, our team conducts analytical and technical work directly within your secure IT tenant, ensuring your data never leaves your infrastructure.
Local Data Handling & Anonymization: When working with client data outside your environment is contractually required:
We extract only the minimum subset of data necessary to perform the agreed scope.
Datasets are anonymized, scrubbed, and stripped of personally identifiable information (PII) before extraction wherever possible.
Working datasets on staging environments are securely destroyed upon task completion.
Secure Exchange: Confidential file transfers are conducted exclusively through encrypted, secure shared spaces established within your IT tenant or our secure Microsoft 365 enterprise workspace.
Data Retention: Client operational data held by Adante is never retained beyond the active project period required to fulfill our contractual obligations, except as required for routine, encrypted system backups that age out automatically.
